Ana Zibelnik, born 1995, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana and is currently a master student at Leiden University. She is part of If Slovenia Were project, led by the renowned French-Slovenian photographer Klavdij Sluban. Her work is not confined by any single approach, she considers a theme or idea through several styles of photography, from intimate portraiture to abstract, always depending on the narrative of a specific series. She often delves into literature, reflecting literary themes in her photographic series and finding inspiration for new projects. She explores a variety of themes, such as time, relation to nature, and folklore.
